Curable resin composition

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:The titled composition which can give a cured product having rubber elasticity, obtained by adding a specified amount of a polyether having a reactive silicon group to an epoxy resin. CONSTITUTION:To 100pts.wt. epoxy resin (A) (e.g., bisphenol A epoxy resin), 0.1-99pts.wt. polyether having a group of formula I [wherein R<1> is a 1-20 C alkyl, aryl, aralkyl or a triorganosiloxy group of the formula: (R<2>)3SiO- (wherein R<2> is a 1-20 C hydrocarbyl), X is a hydroxyl group or a hydrolyzable group, a=0-3, b=0-2 and m=0-18] in the molecule, preferably, at a molecular end and, optionally, a curing agent, etc., are added.
