Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent the circulation of the same packet by providing a passage node number at a specific area of the packet, and if the node allows the packet to pass, reducing 1 from the number when specific area is positive, and deleting the packet when the specific area is 0 or negative. CONSTITUTION:Clock and data reproduction of the data sent from loop transmission route 10 is executed by an interface 12. A life time field (LTF) inside the start delimiter SD of packet of the reproduced data is detected at detecting part 13 and is inputted to comparator 14. The comparator 14 compares the value of LTF and detects whether it is positive or negative. If it is positive, reduction is instructed to a bypass part 15, and if 0 or negative, deletion instruction is issued to deleting part 18. The data pypassed is sent to a loop transmission route 11 through a multiplexer part 20. A reception part 16 detects the packet addressed to its own node among the data inputted, and copies it on a buffer 19. The copy data is then sent to the terminal through a bus 23 and interface 22.
