Active matrix for color display

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To form a picture which provides a natural feeling by arranging a transistor on alternate upper and lower or right and left sides of a signal line. CONSTITUTION:Transistors (TR) 13 and 14 have sources or drains connected to the same signal line 120 and their relative positions are determined on the right and left sides of the signal line. For example, signal lines 120 and 123 are assigned for red R, signal lines 121 and 124 are assigned for green G, and a signal line 122 is assigned for blue B. The respective colors are so arranged that they are mixed properly. Consequently, the pictures which provide a natural feeling as much as possible are formed.
