Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To discriminate immediately the cause to a forced disconnection by providing a memory storing a talking forced disconnecting condition at every establishment of the condition, an operator commanding the read of the content of the said memory and a display device displaying the content of the memory through the output of the operator. CONSTITUTION:When a user whose talking is disconnected forcibly inquires it for a consignor, the consignor uses a key to open a housing door for off-hook. A CPU 109 transferring the self-diagnosis processing checks the presence of a fault such as clogged coin and when any fault exists, a faulty location is stored in a fault register in the RAM of a memory 112 and when a housing door switch is turned on through the open door, the mode is transferred to the manual self-diagnosis processing. That is, the CPU 109 analyzes the input from the dial key, reads the content of the fault register and displays it. Thus, the cause to forced disconnection is clarified to the user.
