Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To make it possible to enhance paper feed accuracy, by providing a first roller having a ring shaped groove to a part of the surface thereof contacted with cut paper and a second roller for allowing the cut paper to engage the groove of the first roller so as to hold the same between both rollers. CONSTITUTION:A drive roller 6 as a first roller and pinch rollers 1a, 1b as second rollers are together supported by a roller shaft 2 in a freely rotatable manner. Both ends of the roller shaft 2 are held to a holding plate 2 which is, in turn, supported by the support rod 5 provided to a chasis 4. Cut paper 12 is held between the pinch rollers 1a, 1b to be engaged with the groove 11 of a drive roller 6 and pressed to the outer peripheral parts 10 of the pinch rollers 1a, 1b to be bent in a concaved shape and slightly moved while tensioned to directions a, a'. By generating this movement in the pinch rollers 1a, 1b, the central part of the cut paper 12 is tensioned. Because the pinch rollers 1a, 1b are engaged with the groove 11 of the drive roller 6 at the time of paper feed to be contacted with the cut paper 12, by rotating the drive roller 6 before and behind, the cut paper 12 can be fed before and behind.
