Recorded material
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To provide a recording material for ink jet recording excellent in ink receptivity, water resistance and the sharpness of a recording image, constituted by forming an ink receiving layer from a reaction product of an epoxy resin and a reactive substance. CONSTITUTION:An epoxy resin is an org. compound with a low - high MW having two or more of epoxy groups in its main and/or side chain and, as a reactive substance to be reacted with the epoxy resin, any substance having the reactivity with the epoxy resin can be used. It is desirable to select and use both reactive components in such a ratio that the obtained reaction product becomes water-insoluble without losing hydrophilicity. As the base material used as the support of an ink receiving layer, any known transparent or opaque base material can be used. The ink receiving layer is formed to the base material from the reaction product or a mixture of said reaction product and other light pervious polymer and the surface thereof does not become viscous or sticky even under a high humidity condition.
