High frequency filter

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a low loss filter with small size, light weight and ease of adjustment by forming a strip conductor in plural slots provided in parallel with a dielectric board while its open ends are made in the same direction and connecting the vicinity of the short-circuit end in opposition to the open end by a conductor. CONSTITUTION:The vicinity of a short-circuit conductor 14 of the strip conductors 11-13 is connected by conductors 21, 22 and outer lead terminals 16, 17 are connected to the strips 11, 13 at both sides. The frequency is adjusted by changing the length of the strip conductors 11-13 and the inter-stage coupling is adjusted by changing the mounting position of the conductors 21, 22 respectively. Since the adjusted parts exist at the exposed part in this way, the adjustment is attained easily. Since the strip conductors 11-13 are formed at bottom of the slots 18-20, the wavelength reduction rate is increased and small size/light weight of the filter are attained.
