Limiting system for application of software

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent the foul application of software by recording the information the working device number for designation of a data processor which is capable of the execution of a program and executing the program only when the coincidence is obtained between said information on the working device number and the identification number information of a data processor. CONSTITUTION:The device identification number proper to a data processor is stored to a nonvolatile memory 1. The memory 1 is connected to a data processor control part 2. Then a software recording medium 9is connected to the part 2 via an external memory 8 and its control part 5. While the information on the working device number is recorded to the medium 9 for designation of a data processor which is capable of execution of a program. Then the program is executed only when the coincidence is obtained between the record of the medium 9 and the device identification number stored in the memory 1 and when the medium 9 is loaded to the data processor.
