Lubricative dispersion plating film
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To provide good holding parts for a lubricating oil on a surface by subjecting a dispersion plating film codeposited with fine self-lubricating particles and a resin to a heat treatment at the decomosing temp. of the resin or above and the permissible temp. for the fine self-lubricating particles, metallic matrix and material to be plated or below. CONSTITUTION:A lubricative dispersion plating film of Ni-BN-(CF)b if formed on the surface of a material to be plated by using BN particles 2 which are fine self-lubricating particles, (CF)n particles 3 which are a resin and Ni as matrix. Such dispersion plating film 1 is subjected to a heat treatment at >=330 deg.C which is the thermal decomposing temp. of the particles 3 and at the temp. at which the Ni and BN particles 2 and the material to be plated are unaffected or below, for example, 400 deg.C. The particles 3 are thermally decomposed to generate cavities 4 and carbon 5 which is the residue of the thermal decomposition. The cavities 4 hold effectively the lubricating oil
