Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent a discontinuous color-difference signal waveform after demodulation at the time of color separating operation and to obtain a satisfactory color video signal by interpolating a sample point which is switched by a control signal and neighboring sample points. CONSTITUTION:An NTSC color video signal from an inputting terminal 1 of a digital-composite color video signal is added to an adaptive-control shape and color separating filter 22, the filter 22 decides the presence or absence of correlation between respective lines, and a chrominance signal which is specified by the prescribed control signal is separated. This separated chrominance signal is added to multipliers 25 and 26 for demodulation, and a color subscrrier from a subcarrier generator 27 is multiplied through a 90 deg. phase shifter 28. Outputs from these multipliers 25 and 26 are added to LPFs 29 and 30, and interpolating filters 31 and 32, and they are interpolated and added to a matrix 34 which inputs a luminant signal Y. At the time of switching color separating operation, the discontinuous color-difference signal waveform after demodulation is prevented, the satisfactory color video signal is outputted.
