Plasterer's marking ink for building

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To provide the titled ink which can be easily dispersed in or mixed with cement or mortar, by soaking fine carbon powder with a surfactant having good wetting properties and dispersibility. CONSTITUTION:10pts.wt. wetting agent such as polyoxyethylene styrenated phenol and 10pts.wt.dispersant such as polyoxyethylene fatty acid polyhydric alcohol ester are added to 100pts.wt. fine carbon powder such as soot or carbon black. While adding water in portions, the mixture is thoroughly kneaded. When the pigment concn. reaches 40%, the mixture is dried with hot air and finely divided to obtain the desired ink.
