Color image recording method

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To form an electrostatic latent image on a surface dielectric layer and obtain a sharp color image with high tone stably when forming a color image by forming and developing an electrostatic image repeatedly on an image forming body and superposing plural color tone image on the image formation body one over another. CONSTITUTION:The formation of electrostatic latent images is performed on the dielectric layer by a color image recording method which forming and developing an electrostatic image on the image forming body 1 repeatedly and superposing plural color toner images on the image forming body 1 one over another. The development is carried out without bringing developer layers formed by developing devices 4-7 into contact with the surface of the image forming body 1. Further, the development uses a two-component developer and an electrostatic image is formed repeatedly by the same electrostatic recording head 3. The surface of the image forming body 1 is charged electrostatically and uniformly prior to the formation of an electrostatic latent image. Then, a color image is transferred from the image formation body 1, whose surface is cleaned up after the transfer. Thus, the tone of the color image is varied by an image forming method which performs the electrostatic image formation and toner image formation separately, and a sharp color image is obtained stably.
