Device for detecting introduction of sample to chromatograph
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To enable elimination of misoperation by setting a micro-syringe for injecting sample of a chromatograph in the injecting position and disposing a switch means so as to sense the pressing force of said syringe in the position proximity thereto. CONSTITUTION:Introduction of a sample to a chromatograph is so accomplished that the sample is injected by the needle N of a micro-syringe 3 into a sample introducing chamber 1 installed in a thermostatic chamber T and a microswitch 4 is installed on the outside of the outside wall W thereof. A working plate 5 which is lifted upward by means of two screws 6 and 7 is provided across the switch 4 and is pressed to an actuator 8. When the operator depresses the plunger of the syringe 3 in the stage of introducing the sample into the chromatograph, the microswitch 4 operates to issue the detection signal for introduction of the sample. The input operation to the chromatograph is thus automated and therefore misoperation is eliminated.
