Protecting method of surface

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To form the surface superior in weather-proof performance on a component, by a method wherein the surface of the component is covered with a ultraviolet-curing preimpregnated tape whereon a specific protective painted film transmissible to ultraviolet ray and curing of said tape is made to perform smooth irrespective of the weather whether it is good or bad. CONSTITUTION:A heat insulation or corrosion-proof intermediate layer 5 is laminated desirably on the surface of a component 1, a ultraviolet-curing preimpregnated tape 3 is stuck through ultraviolet-curing primer 2, to the upper part of which a mixed liquid 4 of solvent diluting type epoxy resin solution transmissible to ultraviolet ray (desirably it is a solvent diluted article of bisphenol A type epoxy resin) and a solution of a solvent diluted type curing agent (desirably it is a solvent diluted article of solid polyamide) is applied. USE:To be used for a petroleum transfer pipe and a petroleum storage tank.
