Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To alarm maintenance time by judging the ratio between the variation rates of the number of revolution on the output side of a clutch and the variation rate of the number of revolution of an engine in acceleration and correctly detecting the slip of the clutch. CONSTITUTION:The number of revolution of an engine 1 is detected by a sensor 14, and the number of revolution on the output side of a transmission 5 is detected by a sensor 15, and a each detection output is fed into a microcomputer 7. The CPU10 of the microcomputer 7 reads several times the detection output of the sensor 15 through an input port 21 when a clutch swtich 19 is ON, and calculates the variation rate of car speed. When the car is in acceleration state, in other words when the variation rate is positive, the CPU10 further reads several times the detection output of the sensor 14 through the input port 21, and calculates the variation rate of the number of revolution of the engine 1. When the ratio between the both variation rates is larger than a prescribed value, an alarm display apparatus 8 is operated through an output port 13.
