Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To enhance operability and prevent an ink sheet from being damaged, by providing an upper cover with hooks for lifting an ink sheet take-up roll and a thermal head. CONSTITUTION:The upper cover 1 is provided with a take-up roll hook 12 and a head-connecting hook 13 so that when the upper cover 1 is raised, the ink sheet take-up roll 2 is lifted as indicated by an arrow by gripping a take-up roll shaft 4 by a springy tip part 12a of the hook 12. Simultaneously, the thermal head 7 is also lifted by the hook 13. Accordingly, a recording paper 8 can be fitted and detached easily, and the ink sheet 6 is prevented from being damaged.
