Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To attain the transfer of data sent from two stations through a single channel in order to improve the using efficiency of a transmission line as well as to increase the transfer data quantity of a system, by providing an address register into a station together with a comparator which decides the state of data transfer. CONSTITUTION:A register 36 which stores the addresses of both the transfer destination and the transfer originator in the channels is provided within stations 1 (1a-1e) respectively when the communication is performed to circulate the time division multiplex channel on a transmission line 2. At the same time, a comparator 40 is also provided to decides the using state of the channel based on said addresses and to compare the trasfer destination/originator addresses of the relevant channel with the transfer destination address of the data to be transmitted from the station as well as the own station address to decides whether the data transfer is possible from two stations via a single channel. Then the data to be transmitted from the relevant station is set up to the relevant channel by the output of the comparator 40. At the same time, a flag showing a busy state is set up at a prescribed field in the relevant channel when the transfer destination/own station addresses are stored.
