Ionizing radiation curing urethane composition

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:The titled composition, consisting essentially of a reaction product of an isocyanate compound with a polyether, an acrylate compound, and capable of solventless coating and giving hydrophilic films having improved physical properties. CONSTITUTION:A composition, consisting essentially of a reaction product, obtained by reacting three components of (A) an organic di- and/or triisocyanate with (B) a di- and/or trihydroxypolyether and (C) an acrylate compound having groups selected from free hydroxyl and carboxyl groups in the molecule, e.g. 2-hydroxyethyl acrylate, and having two or more units consisting of the components (A) and (B) ion one molecule, and obtained by adding an ionizing radiation curing monomer thereto, if necessary.
