Document table moving device

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To clean up easily an optical exposure part by moving an original platen to the 3rd position, and thus exposing the aperture part of an optical exposure means. CONSTITUTION:An original to be copied firstly is placed on the platen 5. The original platen 5 moves from a position A to a position B to perform exposure from the position B to a position C, and returns from the position C to the position A. Simultaneously, an optical latent image is formed on a photosensitive body (not shown in a figure) and the image is copied on transfer paper in a series of electrophotographic processes. When the optical exposure part 2 is cleaned up, the original platen is moved from the position A to a position D and the exposure part 2 is exposed. Thus, the platen 5 is moved, so the optical exposure part is cleaned easily by providing two pulleys at both side positions of the aperture part of the optical exposure part 2.
