Combined body of hollow annular body parts and tubular member

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To make a titled coupled body light, and to hold it mechanical strength by forming it by an inner pipe provided with an engaging part on the in side circumferential surface formed by a cylindrical body such as a pipe, etc., and an outer pipe for covering the outside circumferential side of this inner pipe. CONSTITUTION:Cam frames 2 and journals 3 of a prescribed number are provided on a hollow-shaped shaft 4, and thereafter, a pipe expanding rod is pressed into the shaft 4 and a pipe expansion is executed. Subsequently, the cam frame 2 and an engaging part 13 provided on the journal are allowed to bite into the shaft 4, and the journal 3 is fitted and attached by a sufficient coupling force for enduring a load torque of a cam shaft 1. The journal 3 has an engaged part 13 on the inside circumferential surface, and also it is formed by an inner pipe 10 made of hardened steel having a tubular projection 12 on one end, and an outer pipe 11 which is fixed to the outside circumferential side of this inner pipe 10 and forms a cavity part 15.
