Magnetic disk cartridge

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent a rotational vibration and a defect in recording and reproduction by interposing cleaning liners which are backed with elastic lubricant seepage members inside a disk cartridge for magnetic recording. CONSTITUTION:Cleaning liners 3 made of nonwoven fabric backed with elastic lubricant seepage members 2 are provided inside cover members 1 formed of sheets of, for example, vinyl chloride resin. A magnetic disk 1 is put between the cleaning liner plates. Then, cleaning liner layers made of nonwoven fabric, etc., are held wet with a lubricant all the time and a lubricant film surface is formed on a surface, so the curvature of the cover members 1 due to the expansion and shrinkage of the liner layers and the resulting rotational defect of the magnetic disk are prevented, and none of fiber falls from the liner layers, so the rotational vibration of the magnetic disk is eliminated.
