Series adsorption apparatus

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To simplify the arrangement of ducts and valves by using a four-way change-over valve in a series adsorption apparatus. CONSTITUTION:When the adsorption is carried out only in a vessel A, the four- way valve 11 is changed over so that an air intake duct 18 may communicate with a fluid duct 13, and a single duct 12 with a fluid duct 15. A four-way valve 10 is changed over so that a fluid duct 14 may communicate with an air discharge duct 17, and the single duct 12 with a fluid duct 16, and valves 2'' and 4'' are opened and valves 3'' and 5'' are closed. When the vessel A and a vessel B are used in series for the adsorption, the valves 3'' and 5'' are opened, and the four-way valve 10 is changed over to communicate the fluid duct 14 with the simple duct 12 and the fluid duct 16 with the air discharge duct 17. And when only the vessel B is used for the adsorption, the four-way valve 11 is changed over to communicate the air intake duct 18 with the fluid duct 15 and the simple duct 12 with the fluid duct 13, and the valves 2'' and 4'' are closed. Said operation is repeated.
