Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To input a three-dimensional shape directly as interactive mode by inputting three-dimensional substance shape data directly to a computer and converting the input data into perspective and projection data on the basis of optical properties to display the data on a screen. CONSTITUTION:A detector designates the horizontal positions X, Y of an environmental model stored in a storage device 3 and the height Z from the ground surface through an designating device 1. The designated values X, Y, Z are displayed as designation values 11, 12 on a screen 10. While observing the screen, the detector inputs data X, Y, Z through the designating device 1 and moves the pattern 11-13 on the screen. Writing of a segment 13 in the environmental model through a corrector 4 means the storage of the constitutional elements of the substance. Thus, the shape of the substance 14 can be designated by repeating similar operation.
