Amplifier for hall element

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To reduce an offset output and to improve the S/N by inputting outputs of two adjacent Hall elements to each differential amplifier respectively in opposite phase relation and synthesizing these outputs at an AC differential amplifier. CONSTITUTION:The differential amplifiers 18A, 18B are provided individually to the two Hall elements 12A, 12B, so as to extract a differential output in opposite phase relation. The output of the amplifier 18B is given to an inverting input terminal of a differential amplifier 20 via the DC cut-off capacitor 22. A resistor 26 is inserted to the differential amplifier 20 so as to form a feedback circuit and the input is extracted by applying AC differential amplification thereto. The offset of the Hall elements 12A, 12B is decreased and the S/N is improved by using the differential amplifiers 18A, 18B in opposite phase relation.
