6-tube type multi-projector

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a picture with high quality which gives no feeling of roughness of a large screen by arranging two units 6-tube projectors adjacent to each other so that the projection tubes of same color are set linearly and symmetrically to each other on the basis of mutual boundary lines. CONSTITUTION:A 6-tube type multi-projector 11 contains nine-unit of in-line type projectors 1 on three upper, medium and lower stages every having three units respectively in a matrix form. The projector 1 contains projection tubes 1a in red, green and blue colors arrayed every having two sets upside down in two rateral rows. In four-unit projectors 1 which are adjacent vertically and horizontally left and right, tubes 1a of same color are arrayed linearly and symmetrically to each other. Therefore, nine-unit tubes 1a are arrayed in order of blue, green, red, red, green, blue, blue, green and red from the left side, for the center projector 1 and other five ones set vertically and horizontally around the center projector 1. In such a way, a color level difference at a video boundary part is eliminated.
