Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To eliminate the annoyance of an unnecessary warning which is generated by another aircraft which has actually no possibility of collision owing to altitude information generated from the other aircraft by lowering or setting the warning limit value on the low altitude side of an aircraft to zero when the altitude of this aircraft drops in altitude below a specific level. CONSTITUTION:The output of the altimeter 14 of the aircraft is converted by a proper decoder 15 into a necessary code, which is inputted to a comparator 13, and the result of comparison of the both is inputted to a high-altitude side filter 15 and a low-altitude side filter 17. The filters are supplied with signals from threshold signal generators 18 and 19 which are variable with a fixed altitude and the actual altitude, and their outputs are controlled and led to a CAS logical element 20. The threshold signal generator 19 corresponding to the low-altitude side filter 17 may decreases the threshold value continuously according to the altitude of the aircraft and also may set it to zero at a stroke when the aircraft drops to a necessary altitude.
