Glass antenna
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To offer a glass antenna with less gain fluctuation and also less in the directivity over the entire reception frequency band from a medium wave to an ultrashort wave such as for FM broadcast by adopting a specific shape and configuration for an antenna provided on a rear window glass of an automobile. CONSTITUTION:An antenna wire group 7 is provided on the upper part of a conductor wire group 2 for heating and a received radio wave is led out to a preamplifier 9 from a feeding point 8. The antenna wire group 7 consists of a main antenna comprising three antenna wires 12a, 12b and 12c in parallel with each other and auxiliary antenna wires 13a and 13b. The 13a is arranged axis symmetry with respect to a center axis 16 of the window glass 1, an output is extracted from its nearly midpoint and given to a coupling point B being a location shifted from the center position of the 12b by means of a jumper 15. The position of the coupling point B gives a large effect on obtaining the non-directivity characteristic. The 13b is connected to the 12c at the center axis 16 and transmits the received wave induced from the heating conductor wire group 2 to the 12c via a coupling element 17. The length of a compensating wire 14 provided between the feeding points 8 and 12b gives effect on the frequency characteristic and the directivity characteristic.
