Processing system of transaction data

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To decrease the processing time for classifying and totalling transaction data by saving temporarily a classification and totalling data stored in a storage section corresponding to the unit transaction data until the registration of the data of the unit transaction is finished. CONSTITUTION:When one of transaction data is inputted from a keyboard 5, a main control section 14 starts a file control section 8 and the transaction data is stored in a transaction data storage area of the file section 7 by a storage pointer 8a. Moreover, the classification and totalling data corresponding to the said transaction data is outputted from the classification and totalling data storage area of the file section 7 by an output pointer 8b and stored in a saving data buffer 10. Then the transaction data and the classification and totalling data stored in the file section 7 are read by the output pointer 8b, they are summed at an arithmetic section 4b and stored in the original position of the file 7 by the storage pointer 8a so as to update the classification and totalling data.
