Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To facilitate position recognition at night by forming a fender pole mainly from a pole body which possesses photoconductivity and a covering member which possesses light shielding performance and is held so as to cover the front surface side. CONSTITUTION:When a headlight, etc. are lighted-up at night, the irradiation light is introduced into a photoconductive fender pole body 1 through the slit- shaped exposure surface of the lighting part 6 of the pole body 1. Then, the light is introduced upward, repeating the reflection inside the pole body 1 covered with a convering member 2 made of rubber, and the incident light into the grained surface 8 of a light projection part 5 is reflected in diffusion by the minute uneven part applied onto the grained surface 8 and irradiated outside as dispersed light. Since metal-color light is reflected from the both holding pieces 16, the recognition performance of the light projection part 5 is improved. Further, the irradiated light projected from an oncoming car can be utilized through the upper and lower window parts 7a and 7b. Thus, the position of the fender pole can be recognized distinctly.
