Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To stabilize a fuel injection system, etc. upon automatic speed change, by detecting a switching command signal to an automatic transmission or a switching signal therefrom, rapidly decreasing a suction air amount and gradually returning the same to an original value with an air-fuel ratio maintained constant. CONSTITUTION:A control command generating circuit 1 outputs a control command of a suction air amount as soon as a switching command T is received, and it is connected to one of input terminals of a dual input AND gate 3. On the other hand, when a control command inhibiting circuit 2 receives the command T and various engine condition signals such as rotational speed and temperature to permit control of the suction air amount, an output from the AND gate 3 is fed to a motor drive circuit 4 which in turn rapidly rotates a motor 5 forwardly to rapidly fully close a throttle valve 7, thereby rapidly decreasing the suction air amount Q. Then, the circuit 4 acts to gradually rotate the motor 5 reversely to gradually return the air amount Q to an original value. As a result, during controlling of the suction air amount, an air-fuel ratio is maintained substantially constant without specific control, and fuel injection is stabilized.
