Colored liquid for applicator containing grease as sealant
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To provide the titled colored liquid storable even at a high temperature without forming bubles, and resistant to the leak of the liquid, by compounding water, a water-miscible organic solvent, a water-soluble dye, etc. with a polyethylene glycol having a specific molecular weight, etc. CONSTITUTION:The objective colored liquid is produced by mixing (A) water, (B) a water-miscible organic solvent (e.g. ethylene glycol), (C) a water-soluble dye (e.g. an acidic dye such as Eosine C, a direct dye such as Water Black #100, or a basic dye such as Rhodamine B) and/or a water-dispersible pigment, (D) a polyethylene glycol of formula HOCH2(CH2OCH2)nCH2OH (n is molar number of ethylene oxide group) having an average molecular weight of 150-6,000, and if necessary, (E) a preservative, a dispersant, a rustproofing agent, a lubricant, and a water-soluble or water-dispersible resin. The liquid is used as a coloring ink of an applicator by filling in a cylindrical container furnished with the felt of marking pen, the tip of ball point pen, or a rigid or soft porous core at its top, and sealed at the rear end with a sealant such as high- viscosity grease.
