Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of skewing by driving both ends of a shaft to which a pair of feed rollers are fixed with the same turning force to balance feeding force during a long period of time. CONSTITUTION:A pair of feed rollers 4, 4' are mounted on a shaft 3 to be brought into contact with the uppermost sheet of sheets stored in a sheet support tray at two points, and a driving means 5 for rotating the shaft 3 to rotate the feed rollers and feed out the sheet is coupled to one end of the shaft 3. Further, a driving means 7 is mounted on the other end of the shaft 3 to receive the same turning force at both ends of the shaft 3. In this arrangement, during a long use, not to mention the initial stage, well-balanced feeding force is applied to the paired feed rollers to uniformly keep the wearing amount of the paired rollers, which can prevent the occurrence of skewing during a long period of time.
