Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To make a high efficient discharging of locally contaminated gas, perform a superior operability and to withstand a side wind and improve an economical efficiency of facility by a method wherein an air curtain of umbrella- shape is formed by the discharged gas from a blowing passage and the gas in the enclosed space is sucked and discharged through a discharging fan. CONSTITUTION:An air curtain formed by a discharged gas from a blowing passage F has a high directivity of injection flow, resulting in making a downward flow while expanding in an umbrella form. A space H enclosed by G is suctioned by a discharging fan at the center thereof, so that a part of the inner layer of the injection flow is peeled off the area G, its direction is changed over and moved upwardly, the air swirled outwardly by the injection flow is added to the flow, while an air flow J directing upwardly and slantly into the center part thereof is generated, mixed with the contamination gas K and then discharged by the discharging fan. In this way, the contamination gas may not leak out of G and may resist against the side wind L. In this way, the discharging of the contamination gas generated at a local position is performed not only positively, but also a wide working space can be kept, and an economical efficiency of the facility can be enhanced.
