Moving device for sliding roof

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To enable to obtain a plurality of motions by a single drive source, by a construction wherein a sliding roof can be slidden when a link member provided at a stay for the sliding roof is oscillated to be released from a recessed part of a guide rail. CONSTITUTION:When opening the sliding roof 2 from a closed position, a driving cable is moved rearward, whereby a slidable pin 53 integral with a slidable member fixed to the cable is moved rearward into a rectilinear guide groove 44a provided in the link member 41. As the pin 53 penetrates into a bent form guide groove 44b, the link member 41 is oscillated upward around a supporting shaft 33 to release a bent part 43 from the recessed part, thereby enabling the roof 2 to be moved rearward. A tilting-up mechanism is connected to the driving cable, and it is operated when the pin 53 is slidden in the rectilinear guide groove 44a, whereby a rear part of the roof 2 is tilted up through a tilting lever.
