High pressure water jet gun

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a jet gun constituted so as to reduce the load of a worker against injection reaction without exerting an adverse influence upon safety, by providing a single push metal contacted with a slider in place of the grip and the trigger in a high pressure water jet gun. CONSTITUTION:A push metal 77 contacted with a slider 12 is provided in place of the grip and the trigger of a conventional high pressure water jet gun and the other structure is as usual. The push metal 77 is pivotally mounted to a main body 1 in the piercing traverse recessed part 1a of the main body 1 by a fulcrum 18 and has both functions of the grip and the trigger and the gun is held by holding the push metal 77 by the hand. When high pressure water is injected from a jet nozzle, the push metal 17 is revolved around the fulcrum 18 to push the slider 12 to right against the force of a compression spring 14 and a valve body 9 is separated from a valve seat 10 to open a high pressure water passage. At this time, injection reaction acts so as to move the main body 1 to the direction opposite to an injection direction but continuous injection is enabled if a worker hold the push metal 77 while receives the injection reaction. The position of the fulcrum 18 is selected so that the push metal 17 pushes the slider 12 to the right when the main body 1 moves to the right by injection reaction.
