Silver halide photosensitive material
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To enhance sensitivity, and to prevent deterioration of sensitivity and increase of fog during the storage of a raw material under high temps. and high humidities by using a combination of two specified sensitizing dyes for a silver halide emultion layer. CONSTITUTION:A silver halide emulsion layer contains a combination of a sensitizing dye represented by formula I or II and one represented by formula III. In these formulae, R1 is H, alkyl, or the like; V1-4 are each H, alkyl, or the like, and each of V1, V2, V2, V3, and/or V3, V4 may form a ring; D1 is an atomic group for forming thiazole; X1<-> is an anion: R4 is H, alkyl, or the like; R5, R6 are each alkyl; W1-4 are each H, alkyl, or the like, and each of V1, W2, W2, W3 and /or W3, W4 may combine with each other and form a ring; D2 is an atomic group necessary to form thiazole; X2<-> is an anion: R7 is H, alkyl, or the like; Z1-4 are each H, alkyl, or the like, and ach of Z1, Z2, Z2, Z3, and/or Z3, Z4 may combine with each other and form a ring; Y1-4 are each H, alkyl, or the like; Y1, Y2, Y2, Y3, and/or Y3, Y4 may link to each other and form a ring; and X3<-> is an anion.
