Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To facilitate the exchange of laser medium gas in a simple structure by presetting the high vacuum degree performing time determined by the capacity of a vaccum pump by a timer. CONSTITUTION:The set time of a timer 12 is set to the time by utilizing the fact that the time from ON of a vacuum pump 2 to the arrival of the high vaccum degree determined by the capacity of the pump 2 to a vacuum vessel of the prescribed size in a gas laser oscillator 1 is constant. Thus, the interior of the oscillator 1 can be evacuated to the set value of the prescribed vacuum degree.
