Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To maintain invariably excellent development performance and obtain a recording body with stable and high picture quality by providing a storage means which store a developer to a part of a recycling device. CONSTITUTION:Toner T1 scraped off the peripheral surface of an image holder 1 with the blade 12 of a cleaning device 12 falls in a toner recovery chamber 14 along a toner collection plate 13. Then, the toner T1 is moved to the front or inner side of a photosensitive body drum 2 by a rotating conveyor roll 15 to fall from an opening 16 in the conveyance pipe 17 of a conveying means 10. The toner T1 is conveyed in the conveyance pipe 17 by a conveyor 18 and stored in the hopper 19 of the storage means 11. The toner T1 accomodated and stored in the hopper 19 is sent into a developing device 5 by a proper amount through a feed roll 20 and a scraper 21 to be collected and circulated.
