Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To constitute a touch panel with good operability by forming integrally two kinds of tablets of pen touch form and finger touch form using a resistance sheet having uniform sheet resistance through the common use of a paper sheet. CONSTITUTION:A finger touch coordinate detecting circuit is provided with two resistance sheets 31, 32 whose sheet resistance is uniform and in which they are overlapped with each other in rectangular form, and diodes 34, 35...43 are connected to each side of the sheets 31 and 32. In depressing the sheets 31, 32 so as to be brought them into contact with each other, a DC current flows to the resistance sheets 31, 32 and an output voltage corresponding to the coordinate of the depressed poing is given to a signal processing circuit 22 via amplifiers 12, 13...15. On the other hand, a pen touch coordinate detecting circuit consists of by a circuit giving a potential gradient to the sheets 31, 32, an electric pen and a signal processing circuit 68. Both the coordinate detecting circuits are used with good operability by switching changeover switches 23, 24...30 to terminals a, b.
