Portable terminal connecting device

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To support a portable terminal with a conventional I/O connection interface by providing a device which controls the procedure conversion of procedures of a pay station circuit and procedures between a terminal controller and an I/O. CONSTITUTION:Data which is terminated to a terminal connecting device 14 from a portable terminal 7 through an NCU15 is transmitted to a data processing device 1 of a host through a terminal controller 4 by a leased line 2 or the like. That is, since the terminal 7 passing a pay station circuit 3 can be connected to the controller 4 similarly to a general I/O connecting interface, the number of supported portable terminals is increased. Not only a private circuit is unnecessary because the pay station line is supported by the controller installed in a general business shop but also the telephone rate is economized because it is sufficient to call a nearby business shop. Thus, the device 14 and etc. are provided to support the terminal 7 with a conventional I/O connecting interface.
