Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent the failure in photographing owing to an inadequate combination of an angle of view for photographing and an irradiating angle of flash light by comparing the information on the angle of view for photographing and the information on the irradiating angle of flash light, and detecting and displaying the adequateness of the combination of both angles. CONSTITUTION:An electrical signal corresponding to the angle of view for photographing is outputted from a zoom lens 30 when a zoom operating ring 31 is operated. An electrical signal corresponding to an irradiating angle of flash light is outputed from a flash device 50 when a panel 70 is changed. A detection circuit 11 detects whether the combination of the angle of view for photographing and the irradiation angle of flash light is adequate or not in accordance with both electrical signals. The result of the detection is displayed on a display means 12. The adequateness or inadequateness of the irradiating angle of flash light with respect to the angle of view for photographing is easily checked in the above-mentioned way, therefore the failure in photographing owing to the inadequate combination of both angles is prevented.
