Device for controlling position of fault plane

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a fault plane image having high image quality by inserting a pair of slice magnetic field coils between electromagnets of an ordinal fault plane position control device photographing plural fault plane images at once. CONSTITUTION:A pair of slice magnetic field coils 20 changing the intensity of a DC magnetic field generated by the electromagnets 11 and a slice magnetic field driver 21 for exciting the slice magnetic field coils 20 are added to the ordinal fault plane position control device. The magnetic field driver 21 is connected to a control circuit 19 and an oscillation circuit 1 separated from the control circuit 19. Said constitution makes it possible to excite the slice magnetic field coils 20, fix the intensity of the DC magnetic field on the position of the fault plane and prevent the oscillation frequency of an oscillator 1 from being changed, so that an amplifier 2, transmitter 3, receiver 6, etc. can be set up to the optimum state and the fault plane image having high image quality can be obtained.
