Fire detector
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To detect fire without influence of temperature by forming spaces on a pair of glass windows in a sampling part guiding air from a monitoring area of a thermostatic chamber or the like by a suction fan and flowing back the air and setting up light projecting and receiving parts in the spaces. CONSTITUTION:Air in the thermostatic chamber 7 is sucked by the suction fan 42, flows from an inlet port 51 into a smoke room 21 through a pipe P1 then flows back to the thermostatic chamber 7 through a vent hole 22, a fan room 23, discharge port 52 and a pipe P2. A pair of glass windows 26, 27 are formed on the smoke room 21 and the light projecting part 31 and the photodetecting part 32 form a dimming type smoke detecting part 3 with the spaces A to be regarded as heat insulating layers. When the detected output from a photoelectric element 35 is reduced less than a prescribed value by smoke, a discrimination circuit is actuated and the generation of fire in the thermostatic chamber 7 is informed.
