Method of controlling fuel supply of internal-combustion engine
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To improve operability of an engine by taking a behavior of making air fuel mixture lean when the engine is discriminated to exhibit a temperature over the predetermined value and the specified operating condition and restricting the behavior for lean mixture for the specified period passed after the temperature of the engine becomes over the specified value. CONSTITUTION:A controller 5 constituted by a microcomputer controls an air fuel ratio by the coefficient varied according to the output of an O2 sensor 15 in the feedback control operation range. When on the basis of the signal of a water temperature sensor 10, a revolved angular position sensor 11 discriminates that the temperature of an engine is over a predetermined value and the operating condition thereof is exhibited as specified, the controller operate to make the mixture lean, however, the operation for lean mixture is restricted for a specified period passed after the temperature of water becomes over the preset value, namely, until the engine is warmed up completely. The average of the values compensated by air fuel ratio control which is performed according to concentration of O2 is found within the period and using the average, air fuel ratio control is performed in the succeeding period for making the air fuel mixture lean. Such control may improve the operability of the engine and the precision of the air fuel ratio when the mixture is made lean.
