Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To simplify the operating procedure of a video tape recorder by setting the record starting time and the recording period of time after an operation mode of two operation buttons respectively in accordance with the pressing frequencies of both buttons. CONSTITUTION:The 1st memory means 2 stores successively the 1st time of the time intervals decided previously in response to the operation of the 1st operation button. A means 3 starts the recording action of a video tape recorder 7 after storage and when the 1st time elapses. The 2nd memory means 9 stores successively the 2nd time of the time intervals decided previously in response to the operation of the 2nd operation button 8. Then a means 10 stops the recording action when the 2nd time elapses after the recording action is started. Thus it is possible to reserve the recording of a desired period of time after the desired time just by operating two operation buttons. In such a way, the operating procedure of a video tape recorder is simplified.
