Light source device for endoscope

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To change the quantity of light by a ground glass when dimming is required and to improve the projected light distribution of a light guide in an endoscope by arranging the dimming ground glass selectively on a projected light path. CONSTITUTION:One peripheral part of a turret 8, a switching means, is located on the projected light path (l) between a light source lamp 5 and a focusing lens 6 and a filter 9, a penetration hole 10, an emergency lamp 11, and a dimming ground glass 12 are arranged in the periphery of the turret 8 with intervals in the peripheral direction. Any one of said parts can be selectively set up on the projected light path (l) by rotating said turret 8 properly.
