Transportation of oil-immersed electric apparatus with diaphragm conservator
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To facilitate the transportation passing through a region where an ambient temperature varies in a wide range and the transportation with reducing the height by a method wherein an upper half case of a diaphragm conservator is removed from the lower half case and an opening of the upper half case is sealed with a blind cover and the inside of the upper half case and an oil chamber of the lower half part of the conservator is linked with a linking valve. CONSTITUTION:A linking valve 85, which is provided to a lower half case 21 and can be opened and closed, is opened and an upper half case 22 is evacuated through a vacuum valve 86 and a required quantity of degassed oil is supplied into the lower case 21 from a lower part of a container 1 in accordance with the oil temperature of an electric apparatus at that time and the apparatus is transported after the vacuum valve 86 is closed. After reaching the installation, site, a blind cover 84 of the lower half case 21 is removed and the upper half case 22 is lifted up higher than the lower half case 21 by a wrecker or the like to transfer the oil in the case 22 into the lower half case 21. Then the linking valve 85 is closed and a flexible tube 83 and a blind cover 81 are removed and the inside of the upper half case 22 is cleaned and the upper half case 22 is returned to the original position. The lifting up of the upper half case 22 is easy because the tube 83 is flexible.
