Automatic retransmission system

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent the disturbance of a picture due to an error that could not be eliminated at a CRC check part and to attain the accurate transmission of the picture, by performing reproduction of data in parallel at the reception side and offering the information on a line error if occurs to the transmission side for the second transmission. CONSTITUTION:A shift condition check part 11, a buffer part 12 and a framing P/S conversion part 13 are provided to an ARQ part 10 at the transmission side of an automatic retransmission system. The data coded at a DCR part 15 are stored at the part 12, and the part 13 performs framing of these data. Then the data undergo P/S conversion and are transmitted. While an ARQ part of the reception part includes a P/S conversion framing check part 21 and a buffer part 22. A DCR part 25 is connected to both parts 21 and 22, and the part 25 receives a signal FRMVL which received correctly the frame from the part 20 to carry out reproduction of data. If a line error occurs, the information on this error is sent to the transmission side from an OR circuit 26. Then data are transmitted again. In such a way, the disturbance of a picture is prevented.
