Drive controller of induction motor

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To reduce the loss of a motor and particularly the copper loss proportionally to the reduction rate of a load by obtaining a magnetizing current from a torque current or a torque. CONSTITUTION:A magnetizing current calculator 5 is provided. The calculator 5 has an absolute value calculator 51, a proportional element 52 and an upper limit limiter 53. The constant of the element 52 is selected to become the equation. r1, r2 are motor constants of resistance. Torque current command value iT* of the output of a speed regulator 12 is input to the calculator 5, and a magnetizing current command value iM* is obtained from the output. Accordingly, the vector is controlled by the torque current command value iT* and the magnetizing current command value iM* calculated on the basis of the value iT*.
