Friction stepless speed change gear and method of manufacturing the same

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To facilitate attachment and to reduce the apparatus to a compact size by arranging a stepless speed change mechanism portion coaxially on either an input shaft or an output shaft, and applying force to an input transmission plate, an output transmission plate, a rotor and a speed change ring to be united in a body. CONSTITUTION:A stepless speed change mechanism portion is coaxially arranged on an input shaft 1. In the input shaft 1, force is applied to an input transmission plate 2, an output transmission plate 4, a rotor 5 and a speed change ring 6 forming the stepless speed change mechanism to be united in a body. Thus, the input shaft 1 and the output shaft 16 of the speed change gear are led out in the same direction. Accordingly, the speed change gear can be very easily attached to various apparatus and the whole apparatus can be reduced to a compact size.
